A recent Guardian article “Welfare cuts have fuelled rise of far right and populism” mentions my research on how welfare state policies shape far right party support among insecure individuals.

Specifically, the article summarises our finding that “higher pension levels, minimum wage legislation and increases to child allowances … diminish the likelihood of people voting for the far right.”
